Custom Copper Pieces - 70cm Black Patina "Half Time" Clock

Hey Empire Fam, 

Welcome to week three on the Empire Weekly Blog! 
Firstly, I have to apologise for being late. We spent the weekend celebrating my 26th Birthday. I am now officially in my 'mid to late 20s'. PLEASE SEND HELP! Time just gets quicker and quicker every year doesn't it? 

Nonetheless, I had an amazing birthday and was spoilt by my family, friends and Cam. I had many dinners, breakfasts and way too much cake. I have also been hosting a birthday fundraiser on my personal Facebook page for the Volunteer Fire & Rescue Services Association of WA and on my birthday we reached $500!!! My initial goal was $100 - we blew that out of the water didn't we!? It feels so good to do something for someone else. I hope this inspires you to do the same. 

This week, I'd like to talk to you all about custom projects or custom copper pieces. Since the beginning of Empire Copper, we are always being asked do you do custom requests? The answer is a BIG YES! We love them and Cam always likes to say, the only limit is your imagination. Over the last couple of years, we have made custom furniture, custom artwork and many custom clocks! We have hand stamped so many stunning coasters and jewellery pieces. Although we have a custom tray currently in progress, I'd like to share our biggest custom project to date, a HUGE 700mm Black, Copper Half Time Clock. 

We were contacted by some amazing Perth locals Dr. Adeel Munshi and Dr. Fatima Vindhani in November last year via our Instagram Page. They'd been looking for a WOW piece for their home for a while and when they came across our work, they reached out. 

We went back and forth for a while discussing colours, size and scale. Adeel and Fatima had an amazing vision for their clock and over a few days, Cam was able to bring it to life. The finished product looked incredible. Due to the size of the piece, we hand delivered the clock to their home and their reaction was so worth it! Since then, we have continued our relationship with Adeel and Fatima via social media. We really enjoy both their content and their approach in leading a happier and healthier lifestyle. Most importantly, they are on a mission to share it with their community.
